  • To equip and provide support for students in NSS so as to achieve further in DSE  
  • To provide junior learners a solid foundation of language skills so that they can acquire good language learning strategies and increase their readiness for NSS curriculum

F. School Based Assessment (SBA)

 Objectives:

·         to provide a more balanced and trustworthy assessment system, increasing the range and diversity of assessment collection points, task types and assessors

•         to improve the validity of oral language assessment by including aspects that cannot be assessed in public exam settings

•         to improve the reliability of oral language

•         to enhance teaching and learning, particularly in relation to the development of speaking and extensive reading skills
